AutoWorld Brussels: A Must-See Attraction for Car Lovers and Beyond

Getting to AutoWorld Brussels is a breeze! Located in the stunning Parc du Cinquantenaire, right in the heart of the city’s European District, this must-visit museum is super accessible and surrounded by other fantastic sights.

One of the coolest parts of heading to AutoWorld? The journey itself! On the way, you’ll pass by the European Union headquarters, where you can catch a glimpse of people from all over the world working together—it’s a little sneak peek into the heart of Europe!

If you’re using public transportation, you’re in luck. The Brussels Metro makes it incredibly easy—just hop on a train, and you’ll be there in no time. Plus, once you arrive, there’s plenty more to explore in the area, so make a day of it!

One of the great things about AutoWorld Brussels is that it’s open every single day—yes, even on Mondays! That’s a big win, especially since many museums in Brussels take Mondays off. So, no matter when you’re exploring the city, you can count on AutoWorld being ready to welcome you.

As for tickets, pricing is pretty reasonable. A standard adult ticket costs €16.00, making it an affordable and worthwhile experience for car lovers and curious visitors alike!

Need a break from exploring? The Bagnole Brasserie is the perfect spot to refuel! This full-service restaurant offers a variety of delicious food, refreshing drinks, and of course, rich Belgian coffee to keep you energized.

What makes it extra special? The floor-to-ceiling glass walls give you a stunning view of the museum, so you can admire the incredible cars while you dine. Even better—you don’t need an AutoWorld ticket to enjoy a meal here! So, if you’re traveling with someone who isn’t as car-crazy (though let’s be honest, AutoWorld has something for everyone!), they can relax at the café while you explore.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or sitting down for a full meal, the AutoWorld Restaurant is a great spot to unwind and soak in the atmosphere.

Exploring AutoWorld Brussels is an absolute treat, and the best part? It’s a self-guided tour, so you can go at your own pace and take it all in! With around 1,000 vehicles spread across two levels, you’ll want to set aside at least an hour and a half—but trust me, car lovers (and even casual visitors) could easily spend two hours or more diving into the history and details of these incredible machines.

The collection spans from the early 1900s to modern-day icons, including some rare Belgian-made vehicles you won’t find just anywhere. There’s even a fascinating carriage section, showcasing the evolution of transportation.

AutoWorld also keeps things fresh with rotating exhibitions. When I visited, they were featuring Fiat, and as of February 2025, they’re celebrating Maserati’s 110th anniversary! No matter when you go, there’s always something new and exciting to discover.
